Carmack Performing Arts Complex
Welcome to the Carmack Performing Art Complex operated by Michael Berlet and Missy Miller. When completed, the performing arts complex will include two theatres, a main-stage theatre which will seat two hundred and a "black box" style theatre which will accommodate approximately one hundred. Additionally the complex will have four dance studios, a restaurant and a full service bar, and a dance apparel and costume alteration shop. There will also be event rooms that can be set up for meetings, parties, wedding receptions, etc. and we will offer in house catering, bar, and entertainment for rentals as needed. The facility, owned by the Carmack family, was originally Wonder Bowl which was built in 1958, and most recently it was the AMF bowling center which closed in mid-July of this year. We have named the complex after the Carmack family in appreciation of their support of the arts and the assistance they have provided which helped our dream come true. Construction on the theatre has already begun and we hope to have a large portion of the facility completed by March 31, 2013. In the mean time we have set up areas for rehearsals and performances so we can continue our work with the Center Stage Academy Superstars. As the facility continues to grow we will be seeking much help from the community to ensure our continued success through kind donations, volunteers, community service assistance and fund raising efforts.
